DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY – 21 th September

09:00 – MEETING AT THE AWAKENING JOURNEY BALI OFFICE

• Welcome and participant check-in
• Introduction to the day’s journey

10:15–11:45 – GUNUNG KAWI TEMPLE

• Guided visit to the ancient temple complex
• Walk through the surrounding rice terraces
• Introduction to the history and spiritual significance of Gunung Kawi
• Short mindfulness practice by the river
• During the meditation, participants will be invited to identify an emotion, thought, personal burden or recurring pattern they wish to release during the purification ritual at Tirta Empul later in the day

Please note that Gunung Kawi involves more than 300 steps.

12:15–13:45 – KUBU BALI EXPERIENCE UBUD

• Free time for Lunch
• Bali swing experience
• Individual and group photo sessions

14:00–15:00 – ULU PETANU WATERFALL

• Introduction to Ulu Petanu as a sacred natural site traditionally associated with purification and meditation
• Time to experience the waterfall and surrounding nature
• Photography time and optional swimming
• Short nature-awareness practice

INTENTION REVIEW AND DEEPENING PRACTICE

In the peaceful atmosphere of the waterfall, participants will be invited to reconnect with the emotion, thought, personal burden or recurring pattern they identified during the meditation at Gunung Kawi.

They will quietly observe whether anything has changed since the morning:

• Does the original intention still feel true?
• Has another emotion, memory or recurring pattern appeared?
• Is there something deeper beneath the original intention?
• What are they genuinely ready to release at Tirta Empul?

Participants may keep their original intention, refine it or replace it with something that now feels more authentic. This will be their final moment of reflection before entering the purification ritual at Tirta Empul.

15:30–16:00 – MELUKAT PREPARATION IN TIRTA EMPUL TEMPLE

• Entrance and changing clothes
• Explanation of the Melukat purification ritual
• Reconnecting with the final intention established at Ulu Petanu Waterfall

16:00–17:15 – TIRTA EMPUL PURIFICATION RITUAL

• Introduction to the sacred spring and temple
• Personal intention and prayer
• Traditional water purification experience
• Symbolically releasing the emotion, thought, personal burden or recurring pattern chosen earlier in the day
